nVIZ is introducing a new generation of modular CNC Seating Bucks, designed to provide automotive development teams with greater flexibility from a single physical platform. The new concept is based on a modular architecture that can be configured as a compact Driver Seat buck, a complete First Row, or a First & Second Row system. This allows the seating buck to be tailored to different development scenarios while maintaining a common technical platform.

Modular by Design

The modular concept extends far beyond the number of seats. Customers can select the functionality required for their individual application, including CNC-controlled seat and steering adjustment, manual or CNC pedals, SENSO Drive systems, an adjustable center console, and a lifting platform for ingress and egress evaluation. Each nVIZ Seating Buck is then individually engineered to the required vehicle package, dimensions, adjustment ranges and project specifications. Combined with the nVIZ CNC Controller Software and our Ergonomics Plugin for Autodesk VRED, the physical seating buck becomes an integral part of an immersive virtual vehicle development environment.

Alongside the new modular platform, we are launching our CNC Seating Buck Online Configurator. The configurator lets you choose the seating layout, add the required adjustment systems and software, explore individual functions through images and animations, and see budgetary pricing update instantly as the system is configured. Your configuration can then be saved using a unique Configuration ID and used as the starting point for discussing the final system with nVIZ.
