2021

Delivery of the first fully computer numerically controlled (CNC) seat bucks for ergonomic studies in virtual reality with Autodesk VRED and Unity.

2020

In order to master the economic challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, we manufacture high-quality infection protection screens in our seating buck production.

2019

Market launch of the ergonomics plugin for Autodesk VRED after successful development and testing in close cooperation with Mercedes. The plugin is used at Mercedes for ergonomics studies in the computer aided virtual environment (CAVE).

2017

Presentation of the first vehicle dynamics simulation in VR with Autodesk VRED and IPG CarMaker at the Autodesk Automotive Innovation Forum in Munich and installation of the nVIZ Virtual Test Drive solution at Toyota.

2013-2016

Research project ” VIB-SHP – Virtuelle Inbetriebnahme mit Smart Hybrid Prototyping ” funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in cooperation with Fraunhofer IPK and the Technical University of Berlin.

2010-2012

Development of the first PLM integration between Autodesk VRED and the PLM software Teamcenter as well as the introduction of virtual reality in product design at Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte (BSH).

2009

Founding of the company as a reseller of the virtual reality software VRED by PI-VR GmbH in Darmstadt.

Including Functional Performance Simulation for acoustics, fluid dynamics, durabilty, motion, structures and thermodynamics, as well as Virtual Reality applications for styling, engineering and marketing.

nVIZ Management

Ingolf Rehfeld founded the nVIZ GmbH in 2009. He graduated from the University of Stuttgart in 1990 with a degree in aerospace engineering. In the course of his career, he gathered a wide expertise in Functional Performance Simulation processes and Virtual Reality applications. Ingolf Rehfeld held several management positions at leading virtual prototyping

software vendors. As Director of Product Management at LMS International, General Manager of LMS Germany and Head of International Sales at RTT in Munich, Rehfeld managed major deployments of digital prototyping solutions at automotive companies and other manufacturing industries in Asia, Europe and the US.
